Haifa Mayor Yona Yahav was present at the opening of the session and spoke about his request to host the championship's Final Four games in the city of Haifa next June. The Board members will discuss the matter at length in one of the following meetings.
Another issue that arose at the meeting was the demand of the National League for having two promotions to the Winner League. The Board of Directors appointed a special committee to submit its recommendations on this possibility shortly. A third topic discussed at length was the subject of the referees. After a long discussion, it was decided to set up a committee that would present recommendations for action to the next board meeting.
